LIVERPOOL
Catharine Street, Princes Avenue.
Onsite now will be completed by the end of the year.
Only the southbound lane on Princes Avenue will be installed at the moment due to issues with traffic lights.

Sefton Park Active Travel Corridor
(Princes Avenue Junction Improvements -Croxteth Road Junction Improvements) – consultation closed October.

Crown Street
Pop up to permanent – onsite by end of January 2025.
Strand Phase 2
AECOM appointed at concept design stage. Preliminary design work ongoing- should be out for consultation early next year.
Vauxhall Road
The consultation is now closed. Awaiting updates.
The scheme runs from Hatton Gardens (stopping just short of this) to Sandhills Lane. Uni-directional bike lanes in both directions between those locations – segregated, separated by a kerb buffer island.
West Derby Road
The consultation is now closed. Awaiting updates.
Lark Lane
Work to start March/April 2025. Due to cost restraints the section from Lark Way to Aigburth Road will not now be included in the scheme (this is the bit with Al Dente/Auckland College/School and the GP surgery where they do the farmers market)
Childwall Route
Preliminary designs being produced now for next round of consultation/engagement.
Dock Road Cycle Facility/Bath Street – Mott Macdonald are the consultants working on this. Preliminary design phase. Funded via levelling up fund. Should be going out for consultation early next year
City Centre Mobility Strategy – there are several elements to this now. A parking strategy that is city-wide but there is a city centre focused element which will look at how movement is prioritized for walking, wheeling, cycling and public transport. Will go to cabinet 21st January 2025. .
WIRRAL
Birkenhead to Liscard Active Travel Scheme.

Active Travel improvements, Duke Street, Birkenhead
Closes 8th January 2025
Proposals in the scheme include introduction of signalised pedestrian crossing facilities at the Duke Street/Price Street junction, installation of ‘Wand Orca’ type segregation bollards along the existing cycle lane and additional white lining and ‘buff’ coloured surface treatment to the carriageway and cycle lanes.

KNOWSLEY
Wood Road, Halewood – Active Travel consultation
Closes 20 December 2024
Proposals include a two-way cycleway travelling in both directions along Wood Road, the installation of two signalised crossings, one outside Yew Tree Primary School and another between Pendleton Green and Wenlock Drive.
